Limited Run Rancor Gate Control Kit (Return of the Jedi) - PRICE LOWERED!

I used vintage model kit parts for this build, but Ryan Clinton's frame and lights. Seriously you should buy this kit! It's awesome!

The switch you'll need incase anyone wants the top light to go out and the bottom two to turn on as it does in the film is a (latching single pole triple throw action switch) hope this helps.
Awesome build Psab keel! Thanks for posting your build.

Thank you Ryan Clinton. If I had the right switches I would have made the top light turn off when the bottom two turn on, like in the movie, but this worked well enough for me so I went with it. It adds a touch of realism to a really cool looking prop.

Thanks again for the frame and lights! I've enjoyed the build on this one and it really challenged my skills.

I remember almost throwing a temper tantrum when I built mine because I had to build it 3 times. I remember thinking why on earth did they trim these parts the way they did. It makes no sense. However when you sand it down flat on the back it actually took the shape. A little refining here and there. Glad I could help out. The original frame was sculpt out of clay and is anything but semetrical.

Cutting the model kits was immensely nerve wracking because of the angles. I had to buy four tank kits to get all the pieces I needed so screwing up would have cost me a ton to have to repurchase four more.

It was worth the effort though as the shape is so unique and eye catching.
