Does anyony have the line layout for them?

very nice work man.... That looks pretty much dead on.
Here's my attempt at a pattern.
I don't have a CAD program, but I hope this is good enough.
I don't know how to save it as actual size, but you can do these steps:
1. Just right click and copy from here and go to Photoshop.
2. Click "New" from options menu.
3. Click "Paste"
4. Go to "Image Size" and put 7.51" in the width section.
(Don't put 7.51" in the 3rd step or it won't come out the right size)
It should print out at the right size. I derived the circumference of the ball by multiplying 2.375" Diameter of the ball by pi.
I hope I got it close enough since I had to round off the numbers.

Just got back from craft shopping.
Here is the recipe:
Michael's
60 mm Clear plastic ball (48492701692) - $1.29
1 1/4" Wooden doll head (754246102836) - $1.49
Sculpey III black (715891110423) - $1.99
10mm brass barrel clasp nickel plated (I bought these at JoAnne Fabric since I forgot to get it at Michael's) - $1.79 (Sale Price)
Radio Shack
Red LED with holder (2760270) - $1.99
And of course your own files and paints (I finished the grooves with a small triangular file to get a bevel)
I couldn't find the right LED, but this was close in size except it has a rounded top. The one in mine was bought from a member of the TDH a long time ago which goes with the Boba Gauntlet.
Still under $10, but cheaper if you already have some of the items.
