problem ? There's no real problem. I'll just integrate an animated bluish light into the inner edge of the gate.

3D FDM printing of the first DHD prototype. The appearance is rather crude, but it gives us a first idea of the overall volume and enables us to check the assembly.

For the event horizon and kawoosh, I didn't want to use an screen or infinite mirror. I simply opted for an animatable LED strip, placed along the inner edge.

You could have a green screen disc in the center.
