Re: Paper prop Thread

Well, my girlfriend has been lending me her Doctor who DVD's. I'm just about caught up, and I'm more then hooked.

Anyway's, I saw "Gridlock" last week, and just had to whip up some of the drug patches. These aren't 100% accurate, but they are much higher resolution then the one's they have in the concept section of their site.

I've been printing them at about 2 inches a piece, on this stuff called "window decal paper". "Window decal paper" are these crystal clear sheets of plastic, with adhesive backing. the trick is, after you print them DON'T TOUCH THEM FOR 24 HOURSE. If you touch them too soon the ink will smear and flack. You have to let it dry completely before you handle them, or cut them out.

Once dry, just cut out the squares, round the corners, and slap them on any one that needs a little "happy-happy". :) (Oh, and if you want to were them for longer periods of time, you will need to add more adhesive. Something like spirit-gum should work fine, and not irritate your skin.)

Here are some from Star Trek: Enterprise. I print these on a full adhesive sheet and just cut them out.

Re: Paper prop Thread

Thanks.

As I mentioned in the other thread, if anyone has the HD version and can supply hi-res caps, I will gladly build and post an HD version.

Re: Paper prop Thread

Here is the book from "Somewhere in Time" prop. This is a replica of a non screenused prop, which differs slightly from the screen used book. The second pic is of the real prop I replicated.

Hello feek61,
What are the chances of getting a high res of your ENTERPRISE stickers! A few of them would come in handy for some props I am planning on building!
Thanks much, Petseal

Re: Paper prop Thread

Does anybody have a paper prop of the original Sliders Timer? There have been countless attempts at real replicas over the years but when I saw this thread I thought 'hmmm...why hasn't that been done?', lol.

If anybody fancies having a crack at all the Timers seen in Sliders I know a lot of fans would love to get there hands on paper prop versions. :)

Re: Paper prop Thread

Some Journeyman stuff I whipped up. I've never seen the show so I have no idea what they are. I just liked the way they looked :lol

From Men in Black iirc. Maybe in Jay's wallet? It's been WAY too long.
