Welcome to the least interesting room on a starship--the turbolift! Easiest modeling so far, only took me about 5 hours or so to get it modeled and textured. Not really going to see the right side of this set in the film, so I skimped on the texturing of the little window on that side. Hey, it's all smoke and mirrors, baby! Up next: shuttlecraft interior!

Thanks so much, and I'm so glad you caught the Greek thing--it's so important, hence really laying it on thick with the decor!Great intro/video and the decor of his chamber really call to his Greek ancestry

Got the console done (chairs are hidden for this render), now it's on to the various wall tchotchkes, those ball scanners on either side, the door, and maybe a couple of other odds and ends. Pretty happy so far. It's a bit of a cross between the 1st-season-through-Doomsday-Machine console, and the changes made for Immunity Syndrome (like those knife-handle levers--I like those).

And here it is, the final test render for the shuttle interior. That's the last of the major interior sets for Gift of the Manticore! Just a couple of very minor lighting adjustments, but that can wait till I'm actually rendering the shots. Now I just have a few piddly modeling jobs (the comms earpiece, a pair of boots, a shower head and wall behind it) and it's off to the wonderland of rigging my characters...
