This whole thing is looking sweet but my favorite thing is you blade design. Very crisp and fresh. I wish I had thought of it.

Just quick update. I got the blade and computer gauntlets all reworked with the new mounting and I added some details.
I need to get my morph suit all painted up and the hands made. I opted for just airbrushing the morph suit instead of adding muscles and latex. This decision was brought about because of my lack of experience with latex on a large scale and I wanted to keep the suit light and cool.
I added some finger nails made from Funplastic to the hands and used some puffy paint to create some raised details on the handed. I'm figuring that most of the suit will be hidden by netting and armor but the hands need to look good.

Everyone post pics of all the cool stuff they made but this post is different. Let me start off by saying I'm no painter. Perhaps houses but nothing artistic. I marvel at the paint jobs you guys create on your masks and suits. You are truly artists !!
With that being said, I spent most of the morning getting my air brush all up to snuff with compressor hookups and regulators. I was finally ready to do some airbrushing on my hands that I had puffy painted the texture. BUT the paint was not dry. WOW , you have no idea the build up to get to this point ready to airbrush. Ohh well !!! I'm not going to quit. I got some cotten gloves that I got ready to practice on.
This practice was a good thing ! What I ended up with is not very good ( to say the least) and here are some pics. It looks like a washed out muddy mess.
What you are looking at is a complete lack of knowledge. Knowledge of the air brush, knowledge of colors, and knowledge of what a predator hand should look like. I'm so glad this was a test hand. Perhaps my Pred. will be a maid Predator that cleans up the hunters mess and wears those yellow plastic gloves.
I need to do some research and get this right. I think if I had a better pic of some hands to get the colors and patterns right. I can draw and fabricate just about anything with good reference pics but when it comes time to be creative I get lost. Also need to figure out how to paint. What colors to lay down first and build on.
Any help greatly appreciated. I need more than just a hand in there and keep practicing.

What kind of paint are you using?
I use createx airbrush paint its a water base paint that can be deluted with water for smoother aplication. If the paint is too thick it can clog the airbrush very easily and cause the gun to spit.
Also what kind of gun do you use? Ur best bet is to use a gun with a dual trigger. I use a iwata eclips gun.
Reason for a dual trigger is u have control over how much paint comes out at a time (trigger down for air and back for paint the further back you pull the more paint the bigger the detail)
Also very important to start light to dark leave black for last and less is more with my pred build i used white, peach, sand, light brown and black in that order

I love watching all the Little Predator builds. My daughter is into World Of Warcraft so I have been helping her with her WOW Cosplay and making some really cool weapons. No Predator costume for her BUT I was able to convince her to let me paint a Pred. and Xeno. on her nails. She wanted me to paint some WOW stuff and I told her only if I could do AVP also. After all I needed something to make painting nails a bit more manly. I may be lost with an airbrush but this I can do, fine detail painting.

Got a quick update. I got the suit pretty much complete for Megacon. I revised my paint scheme from gold with some black to black with some gold. I'm liking this look a lot more then my original. I plan on doing a complete suit up in the next few days to see how everything fits together and I'm sure I will have to make some mods after that.

I did my 1st full suit fitting on Monday and all I have to say is WOW ! It's a very unique experiance wearing a full predator suit for the 1st time. I must say I was a bit overwhelmed and thrilled. Just getting the whole thing on is a chore even with help. It probable took 45 min to get everything on together. There needs to be a PLAN. Put this on before that ! It's important and I need to rehearse it a few times to get it right before going out in public. I must have put things on and taken things off a dozen times because this needed to be put on before that.
Once you have it all on then what ? I need to practice my poses. Props come in handy. At first I just stood there then I picked up the Shuriken and got a bit more into it. I'm hoping that a few more fittings in the garage and I will feel more comfortable.
OK, enough of that. The whole outfit went together very well. I was impressed. I had tried everything on at least a dozen times but never together. A few minor tweaks and i'm good to go. Need to work on the body netting and hiding more of my skin that can be seen from certain angles.
Here are the pics. Please let me know any thoughts or suggestions.

Omg this looks great! I love the kilt/bottom bit thing. It's amazing.
