My Mk. 42 build, new STL files for upper arm section

Hi all, successfully completed printing the back piece today. Total print time is 48 hours. Assembling is a bit tricky because the design is layered, need to carefully align the pieces together.

Thanx again to jackieisrockin for the great pepakura file.

how do I use the stl files provided in the first link? I downloaded them from the dropbox but where do I go from there

Cool!

Can someone explain the process to get a so smooth finish in 3d printer parts? Thanks! ;)

MEK. Be very careful using it though.

I've used it on a cloth and litterally wiped my prints to be 'smooth'.....it works, but it takes some experimentation and you need to be very careful while doing so. You should do it in a well ventilated area and possibly with at least a mask on so as not to inhale too much.

Not that I'm advocating to use it, but it works better than Acetone (and the vapor smoothing) and is much quicker.

The colors are not correct
but I love anyway

HI, I am quite new to this thread.

I want to make one too but right now I am experiencing some problem assembling the pieces together. How did you do yours? If anyone could help me, I would really appreciate it.

And I would like to thank Abb for making such wonderful files.
BTW: your look so cool!!

Thanks in advance
