Fair enough.

However as a collector I find it disturbing that this helmet was sold as being a TE.

That's exactly what Meatstock helmets are/were: sold and presented as something they're not.

Since your helmet looks like a meatstock but isn't a meatstock, it might be appropriate to clarify
what it is in case another helmet like this one pops up on the market.

Personally I have developed a strong antipathy for fakes and forgers and if a similar helmet is the source for the meatsock helmet, I'd sure like to know.

seriously clutch, its not making you look bad, its trying to help others, which this discussion could do...

and if you want to throw it away... ive got a good trash can at my home here in Ktown...

it looks like a decent bucket... its deffinately got SOME sort of real lineage... or its cast off of one of troopermaster pauls personal scratch made buckets, cause ive never seen a truly fan made sculpt that has the little tells of the real deal like his. (even Gino was a little fooled if i remember correctly.)

anywho.

me and 100s of others here would like to know what this sucker is.

There was a guy who made quite a nice ROTJ helmet a while back. It had poor decals/tube stripes, but other than that it looked quite good from what i remember. Maybe he made this helmet.
I can't remember his name, but i think it was TK### ( don't know the numbers) something or other.
