MCU Spider-Man - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

I'm surprised nobody noticed this when watching the movie but, the back spider has an "outline." Ignore my hexagon/circle part. I made this quickly.

Nobody noticed it?

Umm... this is from 3 weeks ago:

Just got back from the movie. A couple details to improve this bad boy:

There is a thin blue or black line in the shape of a hexagon INSIDE the back spider.

Also, based on my best recollection, the design on the back spider looked like this:

That is a quick, crappy representation, and you should DEFINITELY wait for better reference to appear because that still looks wrong to my eye and I'm tempted to say that the top piece wasn't 3 segments but 1, more like this:

God, I need to see this movie again so I can check! haha There are two good shots of his back and now I want to go back so I don't miss either!

Great work as always, Ken.

To atone for my idiocy, here is the ACCURATE shape of the hexagon. (Sort of a combination of the two I drew based on my initial memory) I thickened it more than it is in the movie and made it black just to really show it off here. I believe it is a dark red in the movie. (Don't quote me on that yet)

Don't mind the Tick. It's a fairly accurate in scale and loosely and shape but super jagged because I drew it super fast with the polygon lasso tool. (I use it to sketch out shapes before committing them with the pen tool)

Hopefully this will help keep things moving forward in terms of accuracy. I'm actually going to make this costume the costume I make as part of my spandex suit designing course I'm making since I'm so excited over this design!

I am very sorry, and hate to do this to you all, but I noticed that v3 had the wrong red texture on the legs and back. I went ahead and fixed that along with a few other minor tweaks.

Once again, sorry to those that have already spent time downloading v3...

Here it is:
v4

What do you mean you hate to do this to us? Your work is awesome and anything that you make and improve is amazing! It's screen accurate and you do it for free! If anything, you are doing us a favor! Not something you hate to do to us. Keep up the good work! :)

Thanks, but I just know it's a pain when a new version is released a day later....

Anyway, here are some close-ups

That's better :)
I think it would be cool with a 3D Model of the black parts, so it would be possible to apply maybe a urethane copy.
It looks like that's also a rubber part in the movie. Of course the fabric is over the rubber.. and with this way the rubber is above. Not accurate but maybe a nice detail.

I printed out the shooters, and the ends are very brittle. I am going to make a mold for a polyurethane cast to see if it will be stronger.

Ok, I'm sorry to say the more I look at it the more I think it may be an oval... not a hex.

Thoughts??

The perception of it is being thrown off by being on the curvature of his back. You can see the same middle vertex I drew just at the bottom of the 2nd legs from the top in those shots, then his back curves forward, curving the straight lines that lead up to the top, and obscuring the top line, making it look all ovally.

Here is a picture of my 3d printed webshooter. I sliced in half so that I can print it without using all of those supports. It turned out pretty good except for the slots where the straps go. I modified the 3d file a little bit and I am going to print it again. This time cutting it in 3 parts along the x-axis and glue them together.

kenlandrum I was wondering if you would be adding in some more lines on the legs just above the knee where it wraps around the thigh area.
