OK, I've just finished up the Mark II version of this jacket. Still not 100% perfect, but much closer, and most importantly, in my size!

So here's some construction photos, followed by the requisite wearing it with photo-shopped background shots...

The interfacing was cut out first and ironed on to the micro-suede:

The inset ribbed panels:

Decorative stitching and pockets- (both you almost can't see when it's finished- but dang-it, they're there!)

With the lining:

Note the collar (and the size difference with the earlier version)

Finally, in front of the HMS Bounty...

I think I'm happy enough this time to call it finished...
