Luna's Ultimate Spider-Man Build, Orhadar Print. [Pic Heavy]

My friend just found these new images of me in the suit, photos courtesy of George F. Rosales Imagery.
I think they look swell! (Click to enlarge)

The new pics look fantastic. Love the colors!
Thanks, brother! I don't ever know what level of color correction the pictures have had when the photographers share them, but it seems like the daylight shots consistently 'pop' more in the color department. :)

Yes, I've noticed that with my own photos as well. Different cameras bring out different shades nicely.

Yea man i was thinking the same thing about the colors. Appears that the daylight really shows it well. Looks so vibrant. Excellent work dude! I've studied ur guide to building the suit. Just got a file from Orhadar for the new superior. Having trouble figuring out how to size it after uploading it to FOD but I've sent them a plea for help and hoping to hear back from them soon. Can't wait to have it printed and sewn up. Seeing how great ur suit looks I'm certain to be happy with mine as well. Looks like u did great job with the micron pens for the lines as well btw. Really helps the web pattern to stand out. ;D

Thanks for the kind words!
You have to size the file before you upload it to FabricOnDemand, I'm afraid, they are simply a printing service and have nothing to do with the patterning. They'll probably tell you as much, that the missing step is on your end, and they can't help you with sizing. But if you email or call FOD they will send you a helpful guide with all the steps to get your file printed on the right amount of lycra, as well as a better file upload link. They've printed lots of suits for people so they are experienced at handling the process. Best of luck.

Wow
Just purchased an already sewn Ultimate Spider-man from a fellow RPF member.
Can't wait to get it and hope I can rock it as well as you did!
Did you have a face shell on for all the pics at the con? How is the breathing through the suit?
Gonna have to try and find a face shell as the run is over now..

Awesome build!!!!

Could someone tell me if this print is too faded I'm ordering it from a company I sent my file to and would like to know

With great power...

Thanks for the compliments. :)
I'm not wearing a faceshell in any of the pictures throughout this thread, no. But bear in mind that I have a very angular bone structure in my face; most people wouldn't have as distinct edges without a shell keeping their features from being flattened out. I'm even thinking of using a shell on my next suit simply to take some of the direct pressure off my nose, which can get bothersome the longer I have the suit on. Face shells are very helpful, even though I didn't use one this time.
Breathing's not too bad in the mask, it's like having material from a pair of tights stretched over your nose and mouth.
Cheers.

Please don't post off-topic things in my thread, thanks.
This is a question either for its own discussion elsewhere or a private message query. :) That being said, your print does not look too faded. It is, however, truncated improperly at the legs. Best of luck with your project, but conduct it in a different discussion space if you don't mind.

Hey there guys.

I'm a HUGE Spidey fan and am use to wearing the rental quality suit based off the USM Bagley design that Disguise Costumes sells.

I want to upgrade to a suit like the one featured in this thread bur I don't have the resources or skill to make my own.

Is there anyone I can contact to make a suit like this with the EXACT same type of lenses for future Spidey suits I desire?

I personally would not want the dye sub muscle texture pattern in my suits though.

It's like spidey just jumped off the page! All together awesome! Do you mind if I ask your work out regimen and diet if at all?

You can get the EXACT same type of lenses from TJack here, I used his first version Amazing Spider-Man 2 'larger' size eyes for this suit. You can add them to any suit. If you really can't handle the individual elements of putting together a complex costume like this, you could commission someone like Brad Spidey4fun to make you a full sewn and shod suit without eyes. His comic style suit pattern has much more subtle muscle contouring than my suit, so you'd probably like it. I don't recommend going completely without any contour shading at all, since spandex will flatten out, squash, and blur the edges of your musculature, hence a small degree of shading is necessary to even look like your normal level of fitness when not wearing the suit. If you don't have any contouring, you will usually look a bit like a kid in pajamas.
If resources are the main issue rather than lack of skills, there's really no way to get a dye-sublimation printed suit for a low budget, I'm afraid. However, you could instead get one of the chinese zentai suits for a low price and add the TJack lenses when it arrives and dress it up a bit with details. Check out spidersparrow's zentai Amazing Spider-Man Build for an example of what sort of cool results can be achieved with a low budget and a zentai suit. :)

You can ask my regimen, sure, but I'm no personal trainer or dietician so I'm not an informed or educated resource for advice on fitness or nutrition. I can only say what works for me at the moment. Like many folks on the forum I posted some info on my exercise and diet in the Spidey Fitness Thread. Cheers.

Been away from the new forums since 2005 and the FIRST thing that catches my attention is this! Well done man.

This suit is truly amazing!! It's one of the best Spidey suits I've ever seen!! This was a very detailed thread! Thank you! Also you have inspired me to make a USM suit!! I will be starting shortly! This is just incredible!!

Thanks for your kind words, and good luck on your project. Excelsior!

Well, this thread inspired me to build one of these suits and join the rpf just to tell you what a great job that you did. I also had a couple questions, but the thread is so detailed that they were answered by simply rereading the thread. Well done! Hope you don't mind if I build this suit almost exactly as yours. :)
