Luke ESB vest

It always looked like a loose weave cotton fabric to me, made like a t shirt. The arm hole edges seem so be rolled under.

Is khaki a verified color for the screen used bespin fatigues? That would jibe with the photos I have of the Official Fan Club jacket, but fan club items aren't necesarily always 100% accurate.

I can only speculate as I don't remember if the Bespin Fatigues ever made rounds in any SW exhibits for verifications, but khaki / light brown is definitely the color of the Bespin Fatigues. There's been enough publicity photo's to support it...the vest is a shade off the pants & jacket, but as for the material pattern of either, again, without close inspection we'll never know...HD screen grabs aren't even that good ;)

There is some horizontal ribbing to the material too.
I recently spent a lot of time looking at this costume since I just finished a painting of Luke with Yoda on his back.

PS - definitely khaki like the jacket and pants.
Also there was a good picture of Luke with the shirt/vest/tanktop on Hyperspace (Photoreceptor pic on 9-15-2004)

I wonder how many sets of Luke's costume were made for ESB and what happened to them after filming?

They're all packed up in a wooden crate and kept in a undisclosed U.S. Government warehouse sitting ontop of the wood crate the Arc of the Covenent is in. ;)

Yeah, I always thought that the shirt was ribbed, too - they sell ribbed t-shirts in all colors at Old Navy for $6 if you catch them oin sale. They're pretty comfy, too. :D.

Somehow I've always had it in my head that the fatigues were sort of greyish and the shirt was a pale sage, but then I've always been bad with colors. :lol
