Light & Magic ILM documentary series

I'm only a couple episodes in for season two so far. Been watching them in short bursts.
As someone said, this season is kind of boring. All CGI talk. While interesting, it's hard to
watch for an hour or two straight.

It's just like the fall of Cinefex magazine. The computer stuff is not nearly so interesting as the hands on approach of vintage FX.

I agree that the ILM hands on approach knight driver, joberg, & Keiko expressed holds my interest better than the CGI discussions. Always loved craftsmanship. That said, tremendous respect goes to the skill and learning of today’s electronic and computer engineers. The artist’s building and painting materials are completely different.
