I agree on the display thought - speaking from experience, looking back at the awesome costumes your parents made/special ordered for you (darkwing duck, tommy white PR, jedi, sherlock holmes just to name a few of mine) is a very warm set of memories that she will carry with her for a long time. GO DAD.
