just a big thank you to JFcustom for your files... this is JF's Deathstroke helmet i'm using on my origins Deathstroke work in progress. couldn't of done it without you.

So.... I did have a question about how you sealed your helmet. There was a ton of gaps and angles that disappeared after you assembled it....and according to your facebook it looks like you did it in a day and a half with paint, details and all. I have been using the grey stuff as well and have yet to have it come out like yours.

It turned out great so please share your process. :D

What thickness of foam are you guys using?

Yup, I use 6mm foam predominantly, although some people prefer 8 and 10mm for more wall strength. I detail in 2-3mm craft foam.
 
I made this using one of your builds (which are awesome) but the helmet did not come together quite right. I sort of added bits and pieces, but it still doesn't look quite right ImageUploadedByTapatalk1392892436.810911.jpg

i went out and bought a printer pseically for these foam files. i'd tried pep and didnt relaly like it, at all.

but this is such fun.

i made this in two evening (just as a test, definitely didnt use any finesse)
