I've released my Ark of the Covenant 3d Files

I’m not super happy with the way this came out, I might redo the entire thing one day. I wish the legs had solid mounting points for the rings I have not yet decided how to attach them

It looks pretty reflective. I think it turned out great. No mistaking this prop at first glance for sure. Nice job!- I'd be proud
I am still printing so I have a long way to go. At this rate-I'll be near Halloween before I'm finished printing

I was thinking about the rings as well. Definitely not printing mine. I was going to use 2 inch pipe- either metal or rigid PVC and bolt through the legs into the body.

Great Video.

I need more on the incorrect edge of the top railing?????

The rail pieces are to align directly to the top reveal sticking above the top leaves section. The build calls for 3/4 inch plywood or MDF -the leaves cover 1/2 inch (or so)( need the actual number but just an example)of that board with the top 1/4 inch remaining. Those rail pieces align directly to that reveal making it look like a solid connection. Only the corners will have nothing touching. I have been studying for weeks now and I have seen builds that don't align this way and some that do. The devil is in the details. Most wouldnt catch this at all so I would fret over it. Look directly at the blue-green rails and see how they attach to the grey remaing section of the the top board.

Hey Kevin, this is what I was able to pull from the screenshots on the smaller ark version that I make. I 3D modeled the details inside to try and match best I could. Looks similar to the details on the lid top. Feel free to use as a reference!

So is this considered the hero version? I'm not really sure if there were multiple Arks or not. Yes I know about the cardboard one--not counting that  . I can see the inside top piece is unfinished- wondering what the lid underbelly looks like

Question please-- What epoxy are we using for PLA ?-- example- joing the angels body to the wings.. Thank you in advance.
I Used UV glue as filler after the Epoxy cured. The UV glue cures with a UV flash light. Then I use a scotchbrite wheel on a dremel to blend it.

Here is a video I made of the process of using UV resin to fill gaps

The resin glue works well on PLA for a filler ??

Yes, I prefer clear UV resin glue because its thicker so wont drip and you can fill the gap all the way up all at one time and the UV light can reach to the bottom, opposed to using grey resin like in my video where I had to fill gaps in thin layers due to light penetration.
