I've released my Ark of the Covenant 3d Files

Turns out this is a common issue with the SD cards overheating and they sell cards meant for heat. I just ordered a couple. Hopefully that's all it is.

Mmmm....you tried a SECOND card and got the same results. The machine would be heating up inside.
So, even a new card gets hot once put inside the machine. Strangely enough, if you had used the canned air, it would likely have cooled the inside and potentially solved the issue temporarily. A heat resistant card will solve it permanently even though the machine will still heat up inside, it won't be an issue.

I downloaded the cloth pattern that was posted, but it was only 8 stripes. It's supposed to be 16 stripes on the full strip.

Here's the 16 stripes.

Looks like I'm down and out until I get this resolved. Until then--I'll keep reading:mad:
You have the nepturne 3? Does that have a usb port? I have all my files on the usb thumb drive that came with my machine, I never used the sd card slot

The problem with the fabric wrap is it means you need wood poles. The problem with the wood poles is if you insert them and try and lift the Ark, the pole rings will just rip off the legs. There is no mechanical connection to the wood frame. The middle leg section needs to be redesigned. I had considered filling the middle leg with plaster but was not sure that would even be strong enough to support the weight.

The leg sections should have been sourced from PVC pipe and nuts epoxied inside for real brass bar pole holders to be modded and threaded in.

Ok

I am one stubborn SOB

Can’t take no for an answer

I went back to reset again
Releveled and tried one more time. This little print in case you’re wondering is a shoulder button for R2. I wanted something small and quick for a test print. The brand new SD cards I bought off Amazon are poopoo and don’t work but luckily I had another one that did.

Since my ark is small, I'm printing the cloth for the poles on 8 1/2 x 14 cloth that is inkjet printer compatible. Should be able to post a pic later today.
Absolutely! I'm excited to see a review of how that process works, and if you think it's a decent alternative to the other more expensive options. (y)

I couldn't find 8 1/2 by 14 so I bought 11 x 17. If you have a printer that does 11 x 17, then a couple of these sheets might work together for a full sized ark.

I cut the larger sheets down to the size I needed.

My review is: Although this worked, the cloth is so thin that it wouldn't be very good at a larger scale. It works only because I'm at 1/3 scale and so it has to be thin anyway.
