Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade

I have approx 200 inserts for the Grail Diary as well as the "offical 20" so if there is anything anyone is looking for just let me know, as this is one of the things me and DD28 are looking into REdoing in the future and making all files for the Grail Diary Available here as it took me around 3 years to get all the files and information for mine - still writting my hand written version I get a page done a month on agerage and only got about half way through it so far, but its the drawings that gave me the most hassle to find so if anyone wants any inparticular or anything to do with it let me know and if I can help i will and if I can't I know a few guys who will

Thanks for all your help....I've been collecting bits and pieces here and there to make my own Diary and these recent items reall will add more of a flair of how real it looks!

I removed the background from the two clippings in GIMP, here they are if anyone wants them: china-clipping edited.jpg hawken article edited.png

And here are a few other things I found that I'll be including, many of them edited somewhat: crucifix w tree of life edited.jpgend photo edited.jpggreek bowl.jpgjerusalem map.pngMap_PresterJohn.jpgnanteos photo 1.pngpeacocks 1 edited.pngvenice map edited.png
As well as The Letter of Prester John printed out in the Henry Jones handwriting typeface.

I've accumulated a silly amount of diary info over the years... If you guys who are making your own personal diaries ever need any help or advice, just shoot me a PM and I'll help with what I can.

Here are a few more Ottoman banknotes.

Can anyone give me some advice on what paper to use (and where to get it) for the telegrams and the Anna Jones remembrance? Again, I'm using the ones from this site: Naamloos document

Also, not exactly paper, but is there a good place online for the elastic band cheap? I'd really rather not have to buy 5 or more yards if I only need a foot or so.

You can get a small roll of it at pretty much any craft store for around 99 cents. Otherwise, are you in the US? If so, I'll mail you a piece for your diary.

Thanks, I think I've figured it out. Turns out Joann did have the elastic after all, I was just looking on the wrong end of the store. And after checking all the hobby and scrapbooking shops, I found the paper I needed at Office Depot. I should be done in just a day or two, and yes, I'll post pictures. Thanks again for all the help.

Just finished reading this thread. Some excellent tips here. I'm about to start making my own diary and wondered how it all came together.

I bought the guide off Ebay for £5.99 but i'm not sure if the pages are in the correct order. At stage 11 the guy goes into 11a, 11b, 11c etc. Don't know if this is accurate.

Also, i was looking to print the pages out and have devised a method to do this. My diary will also be on a budget since i spent a crap load of money on other props.

None of those Grail Diary CDs or DVDs are accurate to the hero prop, so there won't be an official order for them. They're all derived from various past versions of fanmade diaries, ie: the old CokeWithVanilla, indianajonesprops, and indianajones.dk versions. Most of these (and the inserts) were made by various community members here and COW and offered for free at some point. That seller claims he's sold hundreds of the CDs, which is a shame... but I digress.

Anyway, you can match the known pages/spreads in a rough order, but because of the extra invented pages, it's considered a "story/invented" diary, rather than a hero version. So don't worry too much about the order, other than keeping whatever storyline they're using so it makes sense...
