This is the book I have. But I don't know where I have put the file of it toWIP. And not sure how or if to color it yet.
This is the picture of a newspaper for this case I found somewhereJust finished doing this as i found the photo of Indy holding the idol wearing a suit a few weeks ago on Google but was unsure what to do with it as Rene Belloq took it from him outside the temple in Peru, so this is what i came up with NOTE THE EASTER EGG the person who wrote the article, Olympic article just a made up one to fill space .
Soloruben the truth is that the biblical archaeology review magazine did not exist in the 1930's as it was only first published in march 1975 but i just liked the idea of doing it, it's like the design of gas mask bag Indy carried did not come out until 1942 the same with the watch Rene Belloq purchased from the street vendor that came out somewhere around the 1960's but they just some how work however i will maybe try to redesign them to make the magazines look more like a publication of the 1930's thank for your commentsI think I've already said this, but just in case: this thread is just impressive. Great work in investigation/research, creativity and attention to details. Congrats to all of those who amaze me with your great pieces. It makes this place anything but dull... There's always a brilliant surprise!
Just a point of view: I liked very much your idea of the covers for made up publications, Petertiger. What I would adapt is the format. I find the aesthetic very much in the fashion of current publications and less in what the publishings of the time would show (maybe the more adapted to this would be the last image, the one from the "Scientific America"). But this is just a personal taste. The idea and titles are great.
rene007, Your BSA material is just incredible for those who loved Last Crusade... I adored the picture with "Junior and his troop"... Makes me imagine their "kiddos" adventures...
This is the front / back covers and spine of a similar Henry Jones sr book i found somewhere on line but can't remember where from plus the cover of an Indy book i made up myself, new update completely forgot to add this Abner Ravenwood book cover i made the front part i found online forget where but the rest is my own workThis is the book I have. But I don't know where I have put the file of it to
looks printed out well enoughHere I made my own Boy Scout member card for Indy. It's the style before 1916 with red issue year on it
Not printed out yet, because my printer crashed. I don't know if yow will need the duplex flip on short or long side.
When I could print it, maybe I will have to change it a little bit
Enjoy
I changed the layout a little bit and set in some other small articles, so the front page could go this way?here a first print out of my unfinished newspaper. It is still a lot of work, but for a first layout it looks ok so far.
Looks great, but I think it's a little bit too large as an Insert for the Grail Diary? The latest insert i did for my grail diary
I printed it 8" x 6" smaller than the real one would be so it folds to fit in my grail diary and i love you cheque thans for sharingLooks great, but I think it's a little bit too large as an Insert for the Grail Diary?
Maybe better an old AMEX Traveler Cheque as an insert.
Enjoy
