1989 ILM/Lucasfilm Exhibit Photos
A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... In 1989 (I think) ILM/Lucasfilm had a large exhibit on display the Marin County Civic Center, the same place where George filmed his THX1138. If my sketchy memory serves, it was on display for a weekend, maybe a three-day holiday weekend. I don't...

The same 75 pin blue AMP plugs were also used on the R3 droids in ESB and carried over to ROTJ.

Here's the composite image I put together. The interior parts are obviously very hidden once the clear dome is on, but there's lots of fun greeblies in there that connect it with other props.
There's one 75-pin and two of the 34-pin connectors in there.
The 75 is shorter in height like the one on the speeder bike.

As a ham radio nerd, I never stop being amused by the use of PL-259 connectors and they will never not completely break my suspension-of-disbelief.
