Han Solo Blaster: 2025 Studio auctions / Goldin auctions

Yeah, that thought occurred to me midway through making it originally. An understandable downside to otherwise-useful color codes.

The current colors are, top to bottom, green (Hex #87AE6C); yellow (Hex #E1BA59); yellow-orange (Hex #D38A59); red-orange (Hex #F66C15).

If you can suggest four colors with better contrast, ideally ones that can still be placed in a logical order, I could give it a try.
Yellow/orange, red/orange, green, yellow and red are all bad colors unfortunately. Strong colors with strong contrast is best. BUT again for me I do understand everything ur trying to point out..

I think it’s something like 8% of men are color blind so I wouldn’t worry to much about fixing it as uve already put a lot of work into it.

If anyone is curious to know what the actual hero filming prop looked like at the end of filming ‘77 Star Wars. This is pretty much it. Yes it’s 3d printed but the design itself is pretty much an exact 1:1 replica of the real thing.

So to see trash like this auction prop come to life is super disappointing and super depressing for so, so many reasons..

Always a pleasure seeing what it should look like again! One of these days I'll give it another crack myself...

I watched the whole episode to see if the iCollector auction that I found for the base Mauser would be referenced. I got acknowledged as “someone from the RPF”. Cool.
I can't tell; are you happy, or disappointed? Maybe it's just me, but it seems like your phrasing could be read two ways.

lol. I’m happy they mentioned it and not disappointed by being someone from the RPF. I’m not looking for any credit. Just happy to help bury that ugly blaster.
Yay! Sometimes I miss sarcasm; sometimes I see it where there's none.

But still, good on you initiating the revelation. I'm just dumbfounded that Brad et. al. were principally taken down by a first result on Google.

I watched a little bit of that YouTube video. I agree the auction houses should address the situation but they’re baffled that people tried to pass off a fake for $3million?

We're baffled that people tried to pass off such a blatantly laughable fake.

No surprise at another claim after the success of the PS/RIA. We just figured surely more than five minutes of research would go into the effort.
