Want to let you know that I'm following this explanation very closely to make my husband's Gandalf costume. Thank you for your meticulous documentation! I just want to make sure you meant "feet" of fabric, not yards of fabric. I only have 8 yards but it's 60" wide and didn't shrink so I'm hopeful.

Hi there, i see it's been some years since last post, your walthrough to Gandalf's wooven belt is very useful. I wanted to know if your or anyone else made the gandal's cloak, well more like poncho in fact, with the square fabric just open in front and if anyone has attached a hood onto it. I wondered if you would share photo or patron. thanks
