Interest GAMBIT PLAYING CARDS from Deadpool & Wolverine (Deadpool 3) MOVIE!

Hey all:

I have updated the first post with the list of interested members.

Please note two things:
  1. It was necessary for me to increase the prices a bit, due to increased cost for my overseas manufacturer to produce them. Apologies that this has to happen, but I hope you still see a strong value there, and there are still discounts for multiple decks!

  2. THERE WILL BE NO THIRD RUN. PERIOD. Even if there is additional demand, I've decided not to dilute value by over-saturating the market.
Thank you!
Bill
Actually could you sign me up for 2 instead of 1? ;) How do I pay you btw?

I will reach out to you to pay vial PayPal when I have received the decks from the manufacturer, which will take several more weeks.

As a policy, I never take money for something I don't have in-hand. That's worked pretty well for me so far. And there's no way I wanna be on the hook for a hundred-ish people! If I flake, you lose nothing. If you flake, it's just you. Most won't.

Manufacturing of the second run is complete!

Now comes the long journey across the ocean...

Very interested in these. Can anyone who purchased the first run of these cards speak to the durability of the lettering/foiling? I know they are pretty durable overall as they are made from plastic, but was curious about the durability of the lettering/foiling that’s applied to the plastic and wondered if anyone has noticed any peeling, flaking, cracking, etc.? I understand the majority of folks acquire these for display not use, but thought I’d ask anyway if anyone has any insight on this topic.

Overall though, wonderfully designed and great looking deck of cards. Great job OP!

Hey there, thanks for asking! I decided that with so many people interested in these decks, it wouldn't hurt to put a card through a bit of a torture session. So here you go!

I had to scratch it hard with a fingernail to penetrate, but it is possible to scratch the finish off the back of the card. The gold will not flake off, as it is part of the final finish. Meaning, what would scrape the gold off will also scrape off the black. The faces of the cards fared far better than the backs, as I wasn't able to scrape off any finish with a fingernail at all. Also, the card cannot be ripped in half with human strength, but if you cut the edge first it can be ripped right in half.

This is a card from the first run, so it is about 4-5months old at this point.

Hope that helps clear up any questions!

They definitely look pretty durable and look like they will hold up well over time or even with normal/general handling and use. Thanks for actually performing a torture test and sharing!

Hi all:

Didn't think I would, but I am ready to kick off a SECOND RUN of full decks of black and gold playing cards, as replicas of Channing Tatum's "Gambit" cards from Deadpool and Wolverine! Shipping is likely to be early- to mid-April 2025, but I will update as the timing firms up.

  • Material is plastic, very bendable.

  • Both sides are gold foil printed.

  • Front side has a "holographic rectangle diamond" texture that simulates carbon fiber.
Back side has a speckled "matte" texture.

(Although technically matte, there is some reflectivity because of the plastic finish.)

  • Decks of 54 cards (including Jokers) will come in a gold-printed black "matte" box.

  • Ace of Spades inspired by the art of Joe Jusko:
