Just take out a small court claim (online) you can guarantee they won’t show to the court case and then you can get bailiffs etc involved. Cost is peanuts, either do a joint one or hit them for six with multiples. As long as you have addresses and receipts it’s an easy process. I’ve done it three times and been awarded all costs three times without going to court.

Good evening everyone.

For the last three weeks I’ve been convinced by the end of each week I would have an announcement that casting has begun again.

Unfortunately I haven’t been able to get a suitable environment set up after being let down twice - I thought I would be moving all the casting equipment to somewhere I can run it all and the extraction but haven’t been able to and it remains in a storage container.

There are just continued problems in my life and at this point I feel that no matter what - something comes up to halt my current progress with this project. I also know that if I was in your positions Id probably be overall very pee’d off and wouldn’t even care about the set anymore- so I’m just going to take on as much work as I can get now and refund you each in full.

Also obviously I have the moulds so I can still cast anyone who wants it a ‘version’ of the armor in kit form... it won’t be the thing of beauty I wanted but essentially minus the B.S and the problems I want to give the refund in full plus armor ‘kits’ to everyone who was on the run as of my last update.

I will still soon at some point have somewhere to work so options would be if anyone wanted it..

1- a ‘basic’ polyester (normal) fibreglass set, it has a poor heat resistance, its brittle, it’s stiff it not great but most of you are familiar with its properties - but it’s very easily modifiable, can be glued, screwed, glassed and filled- easy to repair and easy to paint. Highly Toxic to the builder at every level of the process.

My second kit option- is an epoxy version of the fibreglass- very similar but with improved qualities - slightly longer layup process but less brittle, similarly stiff but improved heat distortion resistance- not as easy to fill / adjust as the polyester but still very doable. Pretty much the same method to paint. Far less toxic to the builder at every stage of the process.

Both would be kit form.

Obviously though I understand for most of you refunds are priority at this point.

No matter how long it takes I will do whatever I can to rectify the upset I have caused with delays on these sets of armor to best suit you all, and hopefully one day I will be forgiven for my mistakes here.

MIMIC, this is the first post from you in multiple weeks. This is just unacceptable. It doesn't cost money to just respond on questions here. The fact that you don't do this and just post a message once every few weeks, is proof that you are scr*wing over all your buyers here. Nobody, not even myself is still believing in good intentions. I'm sure you will not respond on this message, and will wait a few weeks again before posting a message with false promises. You can do this once or twice, but not endlessly. As we all know MIMIC is doing nothing but lying and stalling. This is the first time he has come online since the middle of July. I am still going to go after him through the courts. I am tired of his lies. He is a liar, thief, and deciever. Him and his girlfriend are very good at hiding in the shadows and making it difficult to locate them.

Funny how the mention of Small Claims proceedings brings them out. Even if they don’t have the cash you can ask for goods to be seized and then there’s the dreaded CCJ which basically screw you over for years.

As I have mentioned before I would like a full refund, seeing as though I was only getting the helmet this would be considerably less than everyone elses purchase.
Last time I put in a paypal request for funds it stayed there for a month and a half then was returned with no action.
I'm sorry but I'll believe it when I see it.

Could someone tell me exactly what the armor is casted with and what type of paint he uses? Figure I will look elsewhere but want to know what to say if I am trying to find something similar to the pieces I already have.

So several people above here, have requested a full refund- refunds will be discussed.- I am still to hear from most in regards to anything.

A couple have messaged still looking to wait for the armor - thank you for that. A little news- I finally have somewhere to start work again- casting will commence within 10 days- however for those of you that have let me know you still want the armor I will just be giving several options of what is available and try to explain the pros and cons of each version. Also those that have said you’ll stay on the run will receive a refund as well.

For the refunds I’m not entirely sure what is the fairest way to do it. At the moment I can refund say the oldest 7 in full or send every one approximately $250 as an initial installment - if I could try and get a general feel for the group as a whole rather than just the same few guys that would be great- feel free to PM or send a message to the payment address if you don’t want to post.

For those of you who are sticking around I think the armor will be a combination of everything so far - unfortunately I may have to go to painting it but we will see -there won’t be many of us left so hopefully I can just do what each of you wants individually- as mentioned before- some is easier to adjust and fill etc, some is more flexible, some is more resistant to heat etc but we’ll go further into that once I start - hopefully I can journal various versions to help you make your choices and I can make this thread interesting again.
