My gold Sunset frame looks brushed aluminum or a very light gold when the light hits it directly, like the TV news scene. The silver is so glossy and bright, if he were wearing a silver frame you could tell. I'm not siding with gold just because I own one in gold, the silver is beautiful. But to me, he is clearly wearing a gold frame. If someone owns a blu-ray copy, check out the flash scene where TD is behind the doctor. He is wearing the Sunset in that scene, to me its clearly gold. But again.. the colors are so distorted in the film, maybe I'm wrong.

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that one. OP made the sunsets in 3 different frames didn't they? Chrome, Brushed Aluminum and Gold?

That's correct, haha love that flash scene. He also wore them in the last flash scene, which is too small to tell the color.

We're just trying to figure out the original color in the film. I just messaged Oliver Peoples, hopefully they will have an answer. Btw "ThatsMe" are your lens color Tangerine?

I tryed to email Oliver Peoples too, but with no success ... They replyed to me frame was in chrome silver and gothic rose lenses...I cannot believe ...
I really do not know if mine it is tangerine or not ...I found it in this color.
In my opinion Tyler wear a different orange...

Oliver Peoples:
"We actually don't know... the lenses were specially dyed a color we never released. It was similar to Tangerine, but included a percentage of Blood Red. I've never been able to confirm the color of the frame itself either."

Guess we'll never know :unsure

Hey, does anyone happen to know what the shirt looks like in this scene? It looks very similar to the one in the golfing scene, I think.

The shirt in the golf scene is black and red, but it's very hard to tell what it looks like. Definitely two different shirts.

I bought a pair of sunsets years ago, from an Oliver Peoples boutique in LA(last pair). They told me that he had tangerine lenses. So that's what I ordered for mine.
