ESB Life Size Mannequin Darth Vader Build

Question, many of the replica costumes I've seen look awkward on the helmet. The helmet doesn't reach as far down towards the shoulders like this one and the film helmets do. Any insight into this?

It's interesting that you mention that because I felt that my helmet has been sitting too low.

I added some height to the helmet post and tilted the helmet forward slightly. I think this improves his posture a bit.

Original on the left and revision on the right.

That´s exactly, how I would like mine to look...wonderful!!!

Too bad, that Tom does not sell the poseable arms anymore :(

Near perfection the only gripe I have is that the chest box is actually gloss the 501st CRL got it wrong but yeah fantastic build nonetheless.
Interesting. I never saw the chest box as glossy in the films. Even in still photos, it has a satin like finish to it.

I'm looking closely at the images and it looks like gloss but if its not then its POLISHED satin, but again i'm sure its gloss because the black looks the exact same shade

Those don't look glossy to me at all. Is it maybe your interpretation of glossy?

I've seen the Vader suit from ROTJ when it was on tour with Identities and it didn't look glossy.

Yes but the clear coat on ROTJ props have oxidised over the years, I know ESB doesn't have any clear coat so the black paint on the original prop might've aged well, If only someone had the real prop and was willing to share it.
