I'm not a specialist, I was only thinking: if it is all steel, then there is no plating that could get damaged. If you have some corrosion, you just take a polising product and polish it up to a shine again. If it is plated brass, there might be a chance that you damage the plating when polishing, no? If also the nickle steel plated brass is more expensive for Sarednab, why not wait a little longer for the complete steel version? Time is never an issue for me, as long as I'm updated from time to time, which was never a problem in Sarednab's runs.
Anyway, it's up to Sarednab to decide, off course. Only speaking for myself when I say I'm not in a rush to get this one in hand...
