Limited Run DL44 TFA Blaster Kit

Is there a machinist willing to offer milling of the left side as we have already seen done with a Dremel?

Dave does that to the Denix frames. I'm sure he can do it to the HFC if there were enough people interested.
I think the issue is the holes left after removing the switch.
Filling the holes with Steel fill epoxy putty and securing the screw end would be needed.
The steel filled putty would allow blueing also.
Not sure about the logistics.
Dave can prob figure out if it's practical.

Yeah I have no ability or machines to do that kind of work on the metal body, so without outside help, I'm otherwise forced to make the plastic plate solution work. I plan on using a mix of paint and bluing, which I think the original is, but it would still be nice to not have to use plastic and bondo.

Cool thanks for putting some more kits up. Ordered!

Anyone have any luck finding HFC gun in CANADA for order?

So has anyone came up with a clear reticle or is everyone leaving the glass as it is? As for the brass knob, is anyone using a brass blueing chemical to make it darker or let it tarnish over time?

Theres reticle's available online for free and you can print them on transparency paper. Also, this is the TFA kit so it comes with a silver (very nice machined aluminium) scope knob

If you do have a brass scope knob (for an ANH kit) you can use either bluing or paint.

I have the ANH kit with aluminum scope etc... I pretty much blued everything but didn't know what people are using to darken the brass knob. I'll check out some reticles online. Guess I'll have to play around with size.

Thanks!
