I received my watch today. It is just as as expected; wonderfully executed! Although I was initially annoyed with the stray from the movie prop, I am totally happy with how this version turned out. The Dick Tracy watch has had a ton of variations and the movie version was just one of those. We have all seen the front, I have taken some photos of the space behind the mesh for potential modders:

Well, it’s been a long time. Looks like the functional watch project is dead. Lot of money raised for the final product and perks not to be delivered.
