Dexter

why thank you Fluid, for the 4 walls since my girl stopped the project because I thought there was writing at the top corners but ended up not looking like it and told her to stop when you dropped yours i downloaded it and printed it on 2 different yellow pieces of paper, a lighter one seen in the pics and a darker yellow, which i like the lighter one. And printed the Starlight Lanes post it and damn its oranger than i thought lol, but i folded it all up and put the creases in the paper like the screen shot, also with the swamp tavern business card, printed it on cardstock and rooughed it up. Im just worried that if I laminate the DL and cut it close to the edge of the DL that it will open up the seal, unless i can find wider tape which no luck today.

Lookin' good there man. And that's an awfully cool "Four Walls" flyer you have there if I do say so myself.

I am in love with my Four Walls Flyer. Thanks FLUID!!!! (Can't wait to stick that Grant Hammer in there).

If I was to do a run of plastic Travis ID's, would anyone be interested in a screen accurate design or a slightly less screen accurate matching one to Dexter's that has a few minor changes like the drop shadow on the shape of Florida?

sweet, my boss just got me the kobalt hammer for xmas. time to print out the grant logo :)
how'd you guys go about getting the kobaly logo off, sanding it down with fine grit sand paper?

I used a sanding block and some 400 grit sandpaper to remove the Kobalt logo. Then I gave it a light spritz with some Krylon Crystal Clear to reseal it. Turned out PERFECT!!!

here is how mine came out, still needs a bit more sanding but looks good for now. would like to try and get the logo to match the actual one on the show as it looked like the logo was blue and around it was white

Looks good there man. Did you make stickers for both sides? The scene where Dex is building his shed, he spins it just before putting it into his tool belt and you can clearly see logos on both sides. Just throwing that out there. And it would be pretty easy to modify Trooper Trent's colors with a lil photoshop if you are unhappy with the color. I wouldn't though, I think Trent pretty much nailed it IMO.

I'll just leave this here:

All I had to work from was the following 2 screencaps taken from a 720p TV rip:

screenshot1qw.png

screenshot2kk.png

The final file is 3600x6750 and 2.2MB in size. The PSD file is about 40MB lol.

Worked for about 30 hours on this. Put a LOT of time and effort into it. ALL of the DDK article text is accurate (including spaces, kerning and spelling mistakes). The only things we didn't really see are the ads at the top and some of the right hand side (and obviously the bottom half). The right hand side article is an article about troops coming home. It's only accurate above where it says "Egeland News Service", any right hand side article below that is not accurate. It was too dark on the show. The top ad on the right is also made up, it's a callback to Doakes :)
The other 2 ads (and the weather) are close enough ads (with correct headlines but non-accurate small text).

Anyway, I'm extremely happy with this. Even the Gellar pic is accurate, it's not a found image, it's actually the head and body of one and the face of another. Crazy.

Anyone interested?
