Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Thanks for the images Schlegel and the headache!! o_O Lol.

Okay, after thinking that this might be an etched temple logo...

...Sent myself in the wrong direction searching for similar shaped eyewear logos.

So after no leads, instead I've looked at every pair of this style frame out there and after a few days of going seemingly nowhere, eventually got the breakthrough when some similar looking frames with round arms matched up!!...Phew!!

Schlegel, I think these are Burberry BE 2195 3534 (matte grey havana) RX frames with custom very light pink lenses 53□17 145...;)

Hope this helps dude!!

After a few searches of "RDJ in Berlin", found a few extra images too from that shopping trip.

From what I can gather, these frames are available in both 53mm and 55mm. I think that looking at how small they look on RDJ, his pair are most probably the 53mm.

It looks like the Burberry logo is only "printed" onto the temple arm and not "etched" into the metal, which would account for the light not catching it in the images.

Although technically, the size and fit should be very similar indeed to the same sized 53mm Dior Black Tie 137 (53□17 145).
With the Burberry 2195 available in a larger size option, I'm now in two minds whether or not to go for the larger 55mm.

BTW, he also wore some Matsuda M3023 in the same trip to Berlin (same jacket) when he met with Daniel Brühl...

On YouTube here...

I just picked up the Burberry after receiving an offer of £70 which is decent.

Very nice frames, I liked them way back when I saw the Berlin images.

Great reminder by Schlegel and awesome detective work by UV.

I love the pink tint lenses, they work with the grey havana perfectly :)

Are these Dita Condors? Or Marc Jacobs??

There's a pair on US ebay for $50 or make an offer still. Seller took my $40 offer for his next to last pair. Edit: free shipping in USA too.

Just had some luck this weekend and spotted a gold/black Matsuda M3023 for $195! If they are in good shape that gets me the last movie Matsuda. Also saw m2002 in black, but I already have the tortoise.

Yeah, I know what you mean :).

I first looked at the 1436 vintage colorway, but the arms didn't match up as the RDJ arms are clear and the frame fronts had quite a definitive "3 segment" color, clearly separated out from clear lower to light grey transparent up to darker grey transparent...

When I lightened the pictures, you can see the "striations" or random lighter sections dotted around in the frame front, particuarly in the upper half, especially on (his) right temple, just around the silver temple detail and above the right eye...

...but granted, the lower section seems to have no tortoise pattern, but even when lightened, is light grey as opposed to clear.

I then thought about my Givenchy 7125's.
Mine, despite being exactly the same model, look like this...

...despite RDJ's having only very minimal lighter tortoise or light amber sections, to the point, that in many shots, in fact they almost look black.

This random "luck of the draw" with regards to the tortoise pattern and how much of the lighter and darker sections you may actually get, pointed me more towards the 1354/R8.
Mine are admittedly quite "stripey" in their tortoise pattern.

Maybe they are custom, as in using arms and frame fronts from different models, or an elusive vintage or limited model??

I'm more than happy to do some "Frankenstein's Monster" surgery on mine and "bolt on" the clear side arms with some unsuspecting different frame fronts......."IT'S ALIVE!!".

I found an item not for sale.

Wow!! No way, that's them!! The correct elusive colorway, a dark havana!!

Well found Sake, I mean really, well found!! (y)(y)

You've solved the whole issue on how RDJ's pair look black/really dark, but also have only a "fraction" of tortoise striation in them, compared with the 086/EZ that is supplied to the masses.
I've always thought my 086/EZ had far too much tortoise in them compared with RDJ's pair.

A "not for sale" color variant but still using the 086/EZ color code, WTF!?!....thanks a bunch Givenchy!! Grrrr!!(n)

Well I'm off to hunt down a pair too!! Lol.

Still can't believe Givenchy pulling shenanigans like that, if ID'ing frames isn't already hard enough for us....

Fortunately, the 7125 are the only Givenchy frame that I own. :D

Is it a Tanya lens?
No I have my lens done at a local shop. I won’t take my frame anywhere else. I swear by their work, they can cut, tint, drill, shape anything I need. I’d put them up against any other optical place and bet money on it
It’s within driving distance from my house too so it’s very convenient

Is the 719 a black frame? Or is it copper?
