Breaking Bad Props

Unrelated to the coolness of the props, but how are you getting images to show up in your post? When I try the things that have worked in the past, it just puts in a link to the image, not the image itself. It's a known issue that the site admins are working on, but you seem to have a way for it to work.

Cool, thanks. They actually have excellent reviews on Amazon. I might pick me up a pair, they sound comfortable.

Do you know any examples of when he wore the darker Wallabees? I seem to recall him always wearing that same, tan-colored Wallabee. I even think that is the color
he died with.

Here's one instance of Walt wearing the darker ones. He also is wearing the darker ones on the posters for Season 2 and 5A.

For me, I'm able to make images appear in my post when I don't click the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" option when posting an image from a URL.

Picked up what appears to be the correct axe, as used by the cousins in Season 3.

Axe by Ry Jones, on Flickr

The OEM axe has a large logo on the side; I notice the clearest shot of the axe shows the other side. I wonder how to fill - or even if I should - the logo on the other side of the blade. I'm considering welding it, then polishing it, but if the weldment doesn't take a polish like the axe head it wouldn't be worth it. Open to ideas.

I'd also like to know if the pistols used by the cousins were real, blank guns, or castings. If they're real, I'll just buy them; if not, I'll have to do more work.

What I'm trying to say is can someone please purchase the key fob for me and ship to the UK please?

Send me details of how much inc. shipping!

Thanks in advance

In a behind the scenes featurette made during the production for Season 2, the prop master said that all the guns used on the show are real guns that were modified to shoot blanks. I assume that hadn't changed in Season 3.

could you send me the final versions of these fry batter printings? :) and can someone post a link where i can buy some buckets? :) i want to make my own

Thank you, I'll go watch all of those again.

Hey there, First time post.
I love Breaking Bad and want to start making props on the show.
I live in Australia and want to make a couple of those rolls of cash that Walt hides and display it
Not too many, only 2 or 3 of 50s and 100 US dollar bills.
Wondering what the best way is to go about it?
Use a real bill for the first one and photocopy the rest? Photo copy all of them?
Where can I get the money straps from that look like the ones on show?
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did any of you guys catch the eBay auction that ended last week for a pair of those Smith Turntable sunglasses? It sold for a crazy amount. You guys who were able to obtain a pair on the cheap can rest easy knowing that if you're ever strapped for cash, you can throw them up on eBay and make your money back many times over.

You mean this one? How could I miss that auction :)

Lol yeah, that's the one. Were you the winning bidder? :eek I put in a bid earlier in the auction, but it got too rich for my blood towards the end.

Good man. :thumbsup

Bet you're wishing you bought two now though. You coulda got those shades for free and put money back in your pocket.

It was pointed out to me via PM that the screen-used axe has the OEM logo, so no need to remove it. Here are a couple screen shots I took that show this clearly:

Thanks for the assist. Now to keep my eyes open for reasonably-priced Colts.

^ Is that axe sharp enough to slice through asphalt like it's butter?

It's sharp enough I put a hole in my wall dorking around with it, but I'm pretty sure there was some movie magic involved in the asphalt gag :)

For an axe, it's quite sharp. It's sold as razor sharp, but I don't think it would stick into asphalt just by falling. I'm sure if you swung it, though, it would go right in.

ETA: Not trying to be coy, you can buy your own here. You want the 36" wood handle pick head axe; you should also buy the scabbard. It seems expensive, but I've already learned how easy it is to put a hole in the wall when it falls over :(
