Hey, I just realized that I have a short foot that might work, it came from a scope ring I'm putting on my A295. Here's a pic, it's 26mm x 10mm. This one looks a little different than yours, it has a bend on both long edges, and stamped "Japan". PM me if you need it.

Finished up making 2 scopes.

Spent a few hours matching weathering on the sight and barrel.

So close now.

I like the fact you have the screw in the back of your barrel mount. Its that which makes me think this is a found part, it looks like a morse key or something functional like that.

What make and model of scope rings are you using for the Singlepoint? Are they 'high', 'medium', or 'low' height? Are they working well for you aside from the minor tilt issue you mentioned above?

Heya Dan,
If memory serves these are weaver 1" low version. The ones Im using are vintage from eBay searches but they don't match each other. I believe one is correct to the original used. There are many new versions currently being sold on Amazon, Dicks and even walmart. The blaster factory has a set thats close as well. The big difference is the knob.

The propwiki says they are NCStar 1" rings.

The single point scope is pointed to the bowcaster body via a set of NcStar 1" RB17 scope rings.

I found a solution to my scope rail fitment.
I ground and filed down all 4 tabs.
I switched out my scope rings for the ones available from Field Marshall (Blasterfactory) they seemed to work better that the vintage ones.

Im calling this done. At some point I will upgrade the scopes to real scope instead of home made scopes and Im still looking for short scope feet.This was a long but fun build. Up on the loft wall it goes.

Stunning, Cameron! Way to work through the small challenges on the scope rail and also get that “nylon” finish. I’m a bigger fan of this prop after seeing your finished build.
