Looking great...I can see that your "workspace" must drive someone crazy with all that foam, dust and crap:p Besides that, good work and how did you do the crevasses into your foam? I tend to use an old soldering iron; more control and cleaner results...seems to me that you used a cutter to rip that baby open;)

Thank you joberg, no the workspace isn’t ideal and the wife isn’t very impressed with the mess but it’s too cold to work out in the shed so has to be done.
I used different shaped rough edged stones and hammered them in a little. Used some to score and gouge also. It was the part of the build I was 50/50 about after the work to get the sides smooth lol had to be done however. I thought I’d go with minimum damage for my outer shell. Certainly isn’t a screen accurate piece but it’s unmistakably a Vidphon.

Nice...is this the final coat or there's more coats to add-on? (y)
Final coat. I went hard on it with the sander today and it’s looking good. Final touch up with some filler and I’m going to infill a lot of the damage. Final sand then it should be good to paint.

Big update. I spent most of the last 2 days thinking about the width of this thing and I decided to take 1 inch from the front, 2 inches from the back and 1.5 inches off each side. Which I did this morning with a chainsaw.

It’s slimmed it right down and is to me much closer to where I want it to be. It means I’ll need to apply the resin again. Set me back some but I can live with this thing now. It just wasn’t sitting right for me. In other news, I’ll need to build some king of housing for the call time display as the wiring prevents getting the LED’s flush onto the window. Fun n games lol

o_Oo_Oo_O Prop making with a chain saw...was never an option for me, but...what the heck mate:p(y)(y)This is a heart attack kind of an update; next time I`ll check your build with more care! It`s looking better for sure and slimmer.
