Beginner's Grail Diary (Printable Pages + Inserts)

Amazing Job. I just ordered a clay grail from England. It was a little pricey, But once they made it, they sent a proof pic and it looks fantastic. I was also going to buy a Grail Diary...but there are so many for sale everywhere and w/ varying prices from $100 ish to $300 ish.
Like the grail I just ordered I've been wanting a diary also ever since I first saw the movie at it's premiere. I was 14...and remember that day well. I remember even seeing people standing in the isles shoulder to shoulder from the front of the theater to the back wall of the theater. We were lucky...sat center theater and at the end of the row...eye level of the screen and the perfect position for the best sound effects.
I went that same year and was just a few months later if I remember correctly to the premiere of National Lampoons Christmas Vacation...a great experience also with seating etc...and the theater was also packed.

Brilliant - thanks for sharing.
You dont happen to have any of the maps that inserted in the diary do you ?
I.E the long fold out ones of arabia etc

That's be one of my biggest pain's working on this diary is that I've been struggling to find those maps forever

Just put the finishing touches on my grail diary last night. This has been 8 weeks of researching, image hunting, typing, scanning, test printing, book binding, proto type making, paper aging, blood sweat and tears.
Finally I have finished. I hope to take some photos this weekend and also a video showing the pages etc.

It really is a time consuming prop but worth the effort (the Grail Diary and Dorothy's Rubby Slippers are the props that gave me the hardest time…)
Your diary looks great (maybe just make the cover a bit more shabby)

Yeah agreed. I didnt want to over do the aging on the cover so I took it easy but a little more wont hurt.........

Would be keen to see your Ruby slippers.

After clearing out my old laptop i recovered my old grail diary files that i intended to use in my own grail diary back in 2016 but never got around to but now i hope to put them to good use. Anyway if anyone wants free grail diary pages here you go but beware it's quite a large download so it's split into 10 parts.

Hello. I was so so excited to get to build my Grail Diary with your help. I brought expensive parched paper and printed it all. When I finished, it all looked beautiful - until I saw the back. Oh my!!! Every back page was upside down. No way to fix it!!! All a bust! Two ink cartridges and expensive paper. All gone!!!

It sounds like when you printed it you selected the pages on the back to be printed long ways instead of short ways which would of been the proper way to print it, long ways would of turn the pages upside down.

Thank you for your help. I’ll try it again, except this time I’ll check the first few pages. Should have done that in the first place.

Also, I greatly appreciate your sharing your Grail work. I just love it! I desperately want to get it on parchment paper then I’m making a brown leather book cover for it. V.
