BBTS had a Mando helmet in stock last week and I took a chance on it. Was just delivered this morning. VERY happy with what I got. No fingerprints under the paint. Ears look good. Zero blemishes in the cast. Like others have said it’s hard to photograph but here’s a quick one with my phone.
Do you feel yours is too dark? My Anovos helmet is defect free and awesome, but I feel way too dark.

Lighting does make a difference nice pics.
When BBTS says it's in stock: it's in stock.
Oh totally. I just meant taking a chance on the helmet itself. People have been having some quality control issues with it.

Something very interesting to me on the Anovos site: All the stuff being "pushed" is Star Trek. No Star Wars items. And, if you go to the Star Wars section, nothing is for sale - only "Interest List"
So that to me is a good sign that something somewhere has shut down (going back to losing license, etc.)
It has been expressed here somewhere that Anovos is to fulfill all outstanding Star Wars orders - also a good sign as opposed to them filing for bankruptcy and disappearing with our cash because they have rights or some other such crap.

Oh yeah, completely understood that.
I'm one of those who's [Mando] helmet was questionable. Still happy I got it though (from BBTS).
No no no. That's not it.
They're not pushing any of the Star Wars stuff because they're too busy preparing for all those Q4 backorders.

Hell with their pay, food, and rent. That money is ours and goes to fulfilling our orders. They get a sink, a vending machine, and the floor.

Oh since they dont have star wars stuff, it was supposed to be a ST:TOS Season 3 Scotty premiere tunic... so they sent the $150 cheaper version... odd huh.. im trying to get this rectified.. the other thing is the sizing is completely different between the them... and its huge... so f-ing disappointed and pissed. I guess I'm not surprised... burned... again...i guess they're trying... but like poor marksman they keep missing the target...

But they are NOT trying. They are imitating the idea of a company, not actually doing their promised job. And if they put something in a box, almost anything, and send it out, that is enough for a small, panicked mind to fend off the idea that it lost.

Well i cannot prove it wasn't an honest mistake. A mistake that shouldn't have happened since they have flipping barcodes on them... but a red medium shirt is a red medium shirt and only i would spot the lack of a diamond pattern on the collar. It pissed me off, and they better make it right but mistakes can happen at the worst time... but think how many may have missed that... got a premiere when they ordered a standard... or my case... what is going on? Really?!?... so ticked!!

The quoted update above was on 10/6. About an hour ago I received an email with tracking number for the Royal Guard helmet. Fully expecting it not to be active, I clicked the link and was surprised that it's already in transit. The label was created yesterday and it entered UPS's possession at 6:19pm tonight. Here's hoping it's actually the helmet and that it doesn't have any issues, I'm ready to be over with this journey with Anovos.
