ANOVOS issues (ANOVOS ONLY discussion)

I dont think theres a limit on number. And its not $350 for a complete one. It's $350 for the complete helmet and the armor kit. No shoes either. But stil thats a phenomenal deal. Especially if it's 501st Certified.

They mention no shoes and no blaster so I guess no service,......:D:D

However it's unclear to me on the website if it comes with everything else like the body suit.

Thats a huge deal, if it gets 501st approval, that will be the best budget set up out there, only one up from it is ATA. I just sold off my AP armor for a little over $700 and the guys on the whitearmor forums jumped that that was a massive great deal in of itself (sold in 2 days btw) in kit form so this is a huge deal if everything checks out based on the prototypes. I will be placing a preorder, at $350 with a completed helmet and all the extras (gloves, neck seal, holster) I think its worth the gamble as long as it doesn't check out like the Rubies Supreme fiasco. Makes me wish they offered a kit set up for things like the snowtrooper etc now, I'd be all over those as well instead of just getting the helmets.

From what I gathered I think it still comes with the suit underneath because if you select the kit option it still has you put in your size. And then it also lists the neck seal, belt and holster under the product details so I am assuming it comes with it. I'll talk to the reps at celebration. Still though thats a good price for just the armor pieces.

Does anyone else wonder how they can do a whole kit and completed helmet for less than the cost of just one TIE pilot helmet?

Intro offer. Hook em early maybe. But the regular price of $650 is not bad either.

I also really like how they are handling customer concerns, etc. Sounds like they have watched what others have done and are avoiding those mistakes.

My only complaint, and it's just how they have to do it I guess, is after all the Sideshow prototypes that look awesome and then the final product looks like crap it would be nice if we could see the final product before we had to order.

BTW does anyone if any of their pieces are limited or unlimited??????

Gonna need me a Stromy, an Imperial Officer Cap, and I have a feeling a lit more. Tie Pilot and At At Soft Parts so if I ever get my Dan Laws AtAt and Tie Helmet/Armor set I ordered over three years ago I can complete it with Anvos stuff.

FYI, there is no automatic "501st approved" costume from any vendor. Sorry everyone. :cry It's all in the quality of the pieces, how they are put together, and how they fit the individual. It looks like a really solid kit though. I know that some people are already complaining about some random details about the helmet sculpt, but I don't know what they are talking about.

I am am seriously considering pulling the trigger on one of these kits myself!! I'll talk it over with my GML just to confirm that there's no deal breaking details on this kit first.

I just ordered the kit. My armor is 25 years old now, and I've been thinking of turning it into a Sand Trooper variant ( to hide all the scuffs and stains it's acquired thru the years ) to go along with the Landspeeder. Now it looks like the perfect time to do it, with replacing it with the new Anovos suit.

Curious as to what Anovos is talking about for the fully assembled $1200 suit, about full lined armor pieces being directly attached to the body jacket and the pants. I've been thinking for a while, about how to do that with my own suit. It would make putting it on much easier, and keep all the plates and parts in position much more securely than the straps and suspenders rig I have now.

Yeah, would like more info on the "Integrated rigging system for armor pieces" and the "Basic webbing suite for mounting of armor pieces to arming suit".

Alright I talked with anovos on their facebook page and the kit does come with the belt, body suit, holster, and neck seal. So that makes it an even better deal! And as for the 501st approved costume I know there no out of the box approved suit, I was just wondering if it had all the correct details on it.

I just ordered the Stormtrooper kit. I currently have a set of Stormtrooper Armor I purchased 10 years ago that is a great set, but the price of $350 , including a completed helmet, neck seal and body suit, is judt incredible. I called my friend and he is ordering 2 kits.

I start to like that company although i didnt bought/ordered from them. Its fantastic to see how many different costumes will be available in that short time and for what great prices. If the level to detail is highend also simply everyting is a steal from them. I already have nearly all the parts for my different costumes and had to collect them over nearly 8 years now....looks i came to early to the party :) Nonethess i still need some single parts and perhaps Anovos will offer them also for a good price. I'm curious to see what they will offer within the next months/years.

I'll be at Celebration in a few days. Hopefully, Anovos has this on display at their booth. If they do I'll take pictures, and figure out how the rigging system works. Based on the pictures on the website, it looks like it could easily be 501st approved. I've seen worst armor kits get approved. If everything checks out I'll be getting a kit for sure.

Wheres "Crazy Eddie"?

Cos a Trooper kit at that price is INSANE!! :thumbsup

No kidding!! I had to order a set to replace my old set as it is over 15 years old and is due up for retirement. This is, hands down, the best deal I have see for a kit or a fully finished set with all the bells and whistles. If they did kit offers like this with all their sets I would be broke in a heartbeat!!

There are rumors that this set is a copie of the RS suit combined with parts from Troopermaster. Any info regarding the source would be appreciated.

Their list of preorder items is ever increasing, they should release something so we can gauge quality/accuracy imo.

Yeah I agree. I have the Bespin Luke on order so that should be due soon. I believe that was their first SW offering if I'm correct...

Got Maul, when you have a chance (what with Celebration prep going on right now)... I know what's shown is a "proof-of-concept" sort of thing. One thing absent in the photos and not specified in the write-up is whether the biceps have the hook for the shoulder bell elastic band:

Similarly, are these going to be specifically ANH style Stormies? Cuz I'm pretty sure most of what's out there for reference these days are ROTJ suits. Might you offer Snowtrooper handplates for those wanting to do ESB Stormies? And would there be a provision for leaving out the body suit and/or neck seal, should one already have it/them, or prefer to make them or have them tailored separately? Not necessarily asking for a different price point (you're already being terribly generous) if those are left out. I Just don't hate to see the work go into something that the end user wouldn't need. Alternatively, how much extra might you charge for tailoring the bodysuit yourselves, provided with measurements?
