Alien Blue Spaceship Build (w/ final photos)

I’m calling this done. Thanks to everyone who read and commented on this thread. I appreciate the encouragement and support
of RPF members. Many challenges were here. I learned some new things-& tried a few techniques I'd never done before,
which is the best way to improve. There were many sessions of head scratching, and several trashed "first attempts".

I followed some of the techniques offered by the excellent scratch builders on this forum.
And the calculations and problem solving involved may keep the old bean from becoming atrophied.
Thanks for following...

Thank you very much stevielewis, joberg and Katsu!
I appreciate your comments immensely.

I'd also like to thank those that follow my builds and post "likes" or "thumbs up" too.

My next project is "up in the air"....so to speak. Several months away though.......

At the bow, on either side of the nose are what appear to be either guns, or propulsion engines.
I settled for guns, so I started to mimic the concept art with oval shaped chambers.

I added two solid brass rods to the primary nose section, passing all the way through the body to provide supports
for the next sections.

Built these trays to hold the guns and their hardware in place.

In place for a test.

I built two LED strip holders for to illuminate this piece on both sides.

Hard to reach when installed so I pre-painted them, and a test fire of LEDs.

Great lighting as always! I know I've probably said this before, but don't be surprised if you see some of your ideas show up in my videos :) . I love the brass rod idea for the sides.
