Y-Wing Building

Well fellas, I have been away for quite a while. My time in the Navy is almost at an end. Very soon (JAN 2005) I will be presumably "back in action". Man, it's hard to believe.

I just ordered a Hummel, a Harrier, and a Harrow. Man, I forgot how expensive this hobby is!

I have 6 kits left on my "to get" list, and, of course, these are only the kits that I know I need to get... there may be others. The kit I really want is that darned Aurora US Navy Sealab III. Where can I get one of those? I tried eBay already. You guys got any ideas?

I will cast almost any part you need I have molds fro the two parts on the bottom front neck and the one or two parts on top as well

Generous offer, boatbuilder. I may take you up on that. However, I was just wondering if it was possible to pick up the kit...

Hey boatbuilder? Do you build model boats, specifically US Navy War Vessels?

Boatbuilder,

I have been looking around for bluprints of modern US Navy ships so I can make 3D models of them. However, I have not had much luck on the net and just wondered if you might know where I can get plans such as these. Got any ideas?

A while back, I had a picture of the inside of the model shop at ILM all those years ago. It was a picture of their model shelf, and some of the model kit's names could be made out. Does anyone know where I can get a hold of this picture again?

The kit which contains the correct part is a GRAIL Y kit,
it contains many parts for her. You are correct though, only a few know.
