PRC-6 Radio from Blade Runner 2049

After a long hiatus of prop-making I returned to make the glorious radio from Blade Runner 2049. Scooped a PRC-6 off of eBay for $60 and this is the result. The back piece was spray with hairspray then the red to get a nice chipped effect. Stenciling was cut by hand. Ran into an issue of the stenciled letters melting away when applying a oil wash but I actually really like how it turned out. Was gonna take more pics of the painting process but it’s noting that hasn’t been shown on here before.

You can, with water remove the paint that sits on top of the air spray: better brush control on how to do the wear & tear on models/props
