Would be possible to add a cross bar that also connects the handle to the top of the inside? It will make it easier to hold and increase stability in the wearer's wrist.

No mate, no possible. It will be relased like you see in pics.
Handle is in good position why you need this?! :/

I have a hook where the handle is the same way and my wrist gives out because of the weight. When I wear the hook I don't want my wrist to move. Without the cross bar, it might not provide the stability in the wrist.

As write in all posts and in the first page of the presentation of the prop, it is BRASS nichel plated

I got my tracking number from factory, I'll receive it next week and I'll do all pics you need!

The day arrived! Tomorrow I'll receive package (I tracked it and tomorrow will be delivered), I'll open it and I'll analyze it!
If it will be like I think mass production will start immediatly and you'll have your hook in 60 days!
