How did you make the battery?, I've just got another pair of walkie talkies so I could make the bttf 3 versions,I have the label, and I'm getting the fabric wire,so just need the battery.

Those 1:1 measurements are too small. Much too small. Look at this screen shot with Marty next to the sign. The sign is huge, maybe 300-350 cm high.

I must correct myself. Today I watched the first movie (again ) and noticed, there is a scene where we can see the back of the "Welcome to Hill Valley" sign (never noticed it before and I watched it a million times). And look what we have here: two Mayor Red Thomas election posters. That's great because we know, a poster is 3 feet or 36 inches high and 2 feet or 24 inches wide. I love counting pixels. Now we can definitely say, the sign is exactly 100 inches high and 82 inches wide without the symbols (107 inches including the symbols). The upper board is exactly half the height of the sign - 50 inches.

Edit: I forgot the distortion. The width of the sign is fixed now.
